Super smooth 120Hz displayYou may be wondering what a 120Hz display actually means. Well, 120Hz is the screen refresh rate of the display, this means the device will be a lot smoother than usual. Previous Galaxy smartphones, and most other devices, had a 60Hz refresh rate so the new S20 doubles previous generations.
Benefits of a 120Hz display include a fluid scrolling experience, your S20 will be super fast and smooth. Animations will be stunning and if you like to play games on your phone, it can give you the edge over the competition. |
The amazing cameraThe Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra has a 108MP main camera, one of the largest cameras ever used in a smartphone. The S20 Ultra main camera also boasts 100X Space Zoom, a technology that utilises both optical and digital zoom. This is one of the main things that sets the S20 Ultra apart from the S20 and S20+. In addition to the 108MP main camera, the S20 Ultra also features a 12MP ultrawide lens , 48MP telephoto lens and a DepthVision camera.
On the Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20+ you will find an excellent 64MP telephoto camera, which is certainly no slouch. 64MP is still a very high resolution for a camera, when you pinch and zoom into your photos they will still remain clear. Also on the S20 you will find 12MP wide lens, and 12MP ultrawide lens. S20+ has the same cameras as the S20, but also has a DepthVision lens. |
Battery that lastsEvery Samsung Galaxy S20 device has improved battery from the previous generation, which we LOVE. Batteries are important and it's crucial they get you through your working day. The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a 4000 mAh battery, S20+ has 4500 mAh battery and the S20 Ultra has a 5000 mAh battery. Last year the Samsung Galaxy S10 had a 3400 mAh capacity.
Not only is the battery bigger, it also charges faster than the S10. The S20 Ultra is capable of 45W fast battery charging, and the S20 is capable of 25W fast battery charging. All devices also support reverse wireless charging, like last year. This means you can bring a colleagues drained device back to life! |
5GThe brand new 5G network is going from strength to strength in 2020 and it's available on all three models of the Samsung Galaxy S20. Although the S20 has a 4G version, it also has a 5G option. The Plus and Ultra come in 5G as standard. The 5G mobile network is faster, more reliable and has a greater capacity than the previous 4G network.
O2 has already made 5G live in 21 towns and cities, with plans to roll out to a further 50 by Summer 2020. To find out the 5G status in your area please visit - https://www.o2.co.uk/coveragechecker. PerformanceThe Samsung Galaxy S20 range has all specs you need for ultra fast and smooth performance. This is because of the excellent Exynos 990 processor, it's one the most powerful on the market.
Also, the Samsung Galaxy S20 starts at 8GB RAM, and goes all the way up to 16GB (if you choose the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 512GB). This is probably more than your computer! For the full specs of the Samsung Galaxy S20 range take a look at our spec sheets here: bit.ly/3bJyAbI. |
